After nearly 30 years of writing software, I’m looking for my next challenge.
I’ve been fortunate to spend the last 10+ years at Apple, working on UI frameworks and some fascinating platform technologies.
I helped build UI experiences for Apple Vision Pro, worked on UIKit and its text system, contributed to drag-and-drop, and was part of the team behind the early implementation of SF Symbols.
Before Apple, I spent more than a decade as an independent software engineer, building web and mobile applications for a wide variety of clients. In other words, I’ve been writing software for just about every kind of platform imaginable – and I still genuinely enjoy it.
Now, I’m ready for the next chapter.
I’m looking for a senior or staff-level software engineering role, particularly where my experience with Swift, Objective-C, UI frameworks, Apple platforms, and large, complex software systems can be useful.
But I’m also interested in interesting problems, great engineering teams, and people who care about building things well. The technology matters—but so do the people you build it with.

If you know of a team looking for someone with this kind of experience, I’d love to hear from you. And if we haven’t talked in a while, consider this a good excuse to reconnect. 🙂
I’m open to what’s next.
Here’s my resume. And because I think it it relevant, there’s also a document the lists my experience prior to working at Apple, showing my rich development background.
